02 July, 2009 The comparing research on the separating & blending decoction to compound Chinese Herbs E-Fong has selected ten classic TCM formulas such as Qingwei San, Guipi Tang and Xiao Qing Long Tang, to do comparative study through the scientific cooperation with GuangDong Provincial TCM Research Institute, and the Second TCM Hospital of GuangDong Province and so on. The researches include those of chemical ingredients contents and clinic efficacy in separating & blending decoctions. Random & double blind comparison were used and no obvious difference was found on clinic efficacy between TCM concentrated granule and traditional decoction: No difference in 81.8% samples between the two decoctions; 6.1% separating decoctions were better than the blending one; 12.1% blending were better than the separating.
